Do you wait until the last second to finish things? I did this semester. I ordered my books for grad school and they came in the day before class started…
I am also the type of person to put off filling up my gas tank until the very last second.
Sometimes I think God answers prayer at the last second…. But unlike me He’s not frantic;
He knows exactly what He’s doing.
Here are a few reasons He may not be answering your prayers:
According to Psalm 121:7 God may be keeping you from harm.
The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.Psalm 121:7
You coud be asking with wrong motives like what James talks about in 4:3.
“When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”-James 4:3
Proverbs 3:5-6 says to trust God, he may be teaching you and making your paths straight.
Whatever is the reason, 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 tells us to not give up but to pray continually.
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”– 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18
No matter what know that God isn’t frantic, He loves you, and He know exactly what He is doing.
